From 16th to 18th October 2026, Storhelg i Hallingdal will be organised, a folk music festival featuring courses, concerts, dancing and festivities. Throughout the weekend, young folk musicians from various parts of the country gather for tuition, ensemble playing and stage experiences at Torpo and Ål.

In 2026, it will be 50 years since Folkemusikkveka was held for the first time. From 24 May to 31 May, the public is once again invited to a folk festival at Sundre, with a week filled with music, dance and festival experiences.
