In 2026, Operalåven is focusing on young singers and a young audience. Therefore, promising students from the Oslo National Academy of Opera are invited to Ål to prepare and hold their own concert for young people in Hallingdal.

Youth Development is supported by the Wilhelmsen Foundation and the Sparebankstiftelsen DNB.

The concert is free for children and young people up to and including the age of 21.
