On the stage stand Hannah Moira Midtbø-Bruner, Syver Rolandsgard Hauge and Kjetil Merberg Myhren. The audience will get to hear Hardanger fiddle music with roots in three different traditional areas.

Before the concert there will be a crash course in Vestlandsspringar and rull, including gommokaku. The instructors will stay on the dance floor throughout the evening and are more than happy to have a dance with anyone who wants to practice steps and turns further.

After the concert, the evening continues with an open mic and jam session into the small hours.

SideSprang is organised in cooperation with Ål spel- og dansarlag as part of FolkOrg's project «Dansen som sosial møteplass» (The dance as a social meeting place). The children and youth prize for those up to 25 years old is supported by Buskerud County Council's scheme Ung deltakelse (Youth participation).
