I The Music Thief an unhappy king has banned song and music in his country. The inhabitants have lived for so long without melodies that they have forgotten what music is.

One day, the sisters Frida and Alma and the neighbour's boy Knut find some old instruments in a dusty attic. Inside a cupboard they also discover some large, strange bottles. Stored in the bottles is a lot of music, including rhythmic music, musicals, pop, classical music and opera.

The performance lasts for approximately 40 minutes with no interval.

The cast features Silvia Moi, Benedicte Sofie Ribe and Nils Harald Sødal.

The Music Thief is part of the programme Youth Development, which is supported by Sparebankstiftelsen DNB.
