Plakat for forestillingen Kakejazz med Riksteateret

The Norwegian Touring Theatre: Kakejazz

Tuesday 11 May at 18:00, the family show Kakejazz is coming to Storesalen. There will be a cake party, jazz, chaos and creative antics when the children get to run the show.

The Grytebust family are going to bake a cake, but then the phone rings from the jazz club The Blue Mould. A jazz orchestra has cancelled, and mum and dad have to get on stage right away.

When the door closes behind them, the children get the opportunity to make just the kind of cake they want themselves. They can mix in whatever they like, but things take an unexpected turn when they empty the urn containing Grandfather into the batter.

Kakejazz is a family show filled with humour, rhythm and inventive capers. The show is written and directed by Gunnar Eiriksson and is suitable for children aged 5 and over.

The performance lasts for 1 hour and 15 minutes without an interval.
